ford Motor Company is world’s third largest multinational automobile company with regard to sale of vehicles. It was established by Henry Ford in June 1903 in America. In 2007, this company became third – ranked automaker in United States sales after General Motors and Toyota occupying first and second positions respectively. Junguar and Land Rover which used to be with Ford, now has been sold to Tata Motors of India in 2008. It has again sold brand names of Daimler to Germany also. Company is relentlessly producing 6.553 million automobiles every year. It has round 100 plants employed about 245,000 employees which are providing facilities around the globe. Company has bagged survey award in 2007 by J D Power and Associates after finding their five vehicles at top in their respective categories.
