Go Green, Save Fuel
In a frantic effort to curtail fuel costs, most automakers are coming up with fuel efficient truck models by introducing various energy saving improvements such as better aerodynamics, tires, and transmissions. To facilitate better small truck fuel economy, special wind skirts under the trailer are also provided. Chevrolet, a favorite among truck drivers, has recently introduced a hybrid version of its top selling model Silverado. Another model to follow suit is the Sierra that has gone partially if not fully hybrid. While the looks of hybrid trucks are as "rugged" as other mainstream trucks, their ability to improve small truck fuel economy make them a perfect choice for modern truck drivers.
