DNA Tests Are Simple
I’ve always heard about DNA testing, but mostly from the CSI shows, and on occasion, I’ll notice something about it online in a news story. I always wondered how they could perform DNA tests on someone who was not present. Then I learned how easy it is to get a DNA sample. Most tests require a swab to the inside of the mouth where a lot of DNA is contained. I think the CSI guys get the DNA from hair samples, which is also a very common place to obtain DNA. I’m glad this technology is available, because it has really helped solve a lot of difficult situations.
