Don’t be fooled.
Paralegal jobs are filled by highly trained people but they are not lawyers. Most lawyers would be very challenged to carry on the daily business with out them. Very often people being interview in a law office make the assumption the interviewer is a lawyer and are so surprised when they find out that it isn’t. I think they mostly worry about confidentially. Usually the attorney client privilege is extended to cover everyone in the lawyers employ that works on a case so the paralegal must also keep confidential anything they know about the case. I just thought it would be good to let you know so if you are concerned just ask to speak directly to the attorney.
