Please sir may I have more?
When I review an application for employment I do not want to see a lot of scratch outs where the applicant has made a mistake and then corrected it. Therefore, when giving job tips to prospective employees I always tell them to ask for a second application when they are handed the first one. The chances are slim to none that the person handing out applications will be involved in the hiring decision to hire you or even remember that you asked for two. However, with the second application you can carefully copy the information from the first without the mistakes.
