Meditation is one of the natural ways to lower blood pressure
Most doctors and scientific people have always denied that there are natural ways to lower blood pressure such as meditation. In fact, a major study in 2007 concluded that prior research on meditation and blood pressure was low quality and that meditation has no lasting effect on it.
Just goes to show that you should never accept anything at face value! That’s because another, even bigger study, looked at a large number of meditation studies that meet strict scientific requirements. These are double-blind, randomized trials. The result is that meditation reduces blood pressure by as much as many medications. The reason for this is probably because meditation usually includes controlled breathing, which has previously been shown to reduce blood pressure.
