All That and Making Home Cooked Dog Food Too
It’s amazing how some people seem to find the time to get so much done. I’m not talking about those busy bees who multitask throughout the day and have nothing to show for it when it’s all said and done, which is the reality for most of those who go buzzing through their days fueled by caffeine and sugar only so they can head home and collapse on the couch in front of the TV.
No, I’m marvelling at those few souls who actually accomplish something. It seems to me that rather than engazing in the multitasking frenzy, they actually focus on one thing, and get either it or a certain part of it done, then go on to something else. I’ve noticed that these people also tend to keep accomplishing stuff right up till the time they go to sleep, rather than wasting their time mindlessly watching the boob tube.
I have a friend that regularly works a demanding full time job, goes to the gym five times a week, yoga classes three times, takes care of two kids, makes home cooked dog food for their two Dobermans, helps her husband with various DIY projects around the house, and has built a profitable part time business in her spare time. She says she hopes to build the business up to the point where it generates a full time income from part time work and then leave her job, but I honestly don’t know what she’ll do with herself if she actually finds some free time:-)
