Wal-Mart
We have all heard of the Wal-Mart super chain of stores, but how many know that Wal-marts contribute to a variety of Foundation Scholarships to help students from low income family go to college. All to often we think of big business as just taking from a community and not giving back. Wal-Mart is a strong believer in giving back. They give not only to a variety of Foundation Scholarships but many other organizations as well. Organizations such as The American Cancer Society and Children’s Miracle network are just 2 in a long list of the kinds of organizations Wal-mart helps to support.
