MTV Run’s House Spinoff show: “Daddy’s Girls”
MTV’s got a solid portfolio of reality TV shows. The Hills is the crown jewel but “Run’s House” may prove to be the long-term one to bet on. The show, focusing on hiphop’s Camelot the Simmons family, has been #1 in its target age group for 5 years running. Renewed for a sixth season, we and the rest of cable America will be watching dad Rev Run, mom Justine, and the kids: JoJo a budding rapper, Angela the fashion guru, Vanessa the aspiring actor, Diggy and Russy the gradeschool skaters and clowns. It was just leaked that the two Simmons sisters, Angela and Vanessa Simmons will be getting their own show entitled “Daddy’s Girls”. The show will follow the girls careers as Pastry Shoe designers, and other forays into acting and singing.
