Teaching Abroad
I have found that a good way to accomplish the goal of volunteering abroad free is to sign on with an organization to teach English. Usually they will pay at least your expenses once you get to the country, and you have a chance to interact with locals. I especially like teaching the kids, they are so much fun to be around that it isn’t like work at all. Kids also learn languages fast, and pretty soon we are able to communicate and I learn a lot about the country from the kids I teach. I give them assignments to tell me about their country to make sure of this.
