Castlevania
This is probably the best video game series to feature the word castle in the title. It is probably the best vampire video game as well. Castlevania has a lot going for it from the action to the platforming elements, it is just a game you have to play on the NES and all the other platforms it came out for. This was the first game of an era and is a classic at that. With your trusty whip you climb through room after room laying waste to the undead enemies that try to stop your path. Using the whip is fun to dispose of those enemies.
