Clearing Up The Windows Registry
Did you know that the Windows registry is a common source of computer problems? The registry is a storage area where Windows keeps all the preference and settings files for all the applications and software for your computer. The registry is prone to corruption and clutter as a result of things like the incomplete uninstallation of software and hardware.
The registry can only be thoroughly cleaned by using a Windows XP registry repair program. There are several software programs that can do the job. My personal favorite is RegCure by ParetoLogic. This program is a high quality registry cleaner that will scan your files and folders for corrupt, obsolete, and orphaned entries and then remove them with the touch of a button.
